“Joker: Folie à Deux”, new behind-the-scenes footage of the sequel with Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck

New behind-the-scenes footage of “Joker: Folie à Deux,” the sequel to the film about the villain starring Joaquin Phoenix and directed by filmmaker Todd Phillips, has emerged.  This weekend, while a day of filming was taking place in Los Angeles, United States, the portal The Daily Planet as well as other media and personalities in social networks began to spread postcards of the streets of Gotham City as well as the Oscar winner in the skin of Arthur Fleck, accompanied by his double who embodies some scenes like the Joker. This second part will include the protagonist of Lady Gaga (who has been developing her cinematic facet as we saw in “Star is born” and “House of Gucci”), who is speculated to play a version of Harley Quinn or her alter ego, Dr. Harleen Frances Quinze. A little less than a month ago, director Phillips revealed the first image where she is seen next to Phoenix. Zazie Beetz (“Deadpool 2”) will return as neighbor Sophie Dumond, while the cast adds new additions and characters in charge of Catherine Keener (“Virgin at 40”), Harry Lawtey (“Industry”) in an “important” role; and Brendan Gleeson (“In Bruges”; saga of “Harry Potter”, and the currently nominated Oscar “The Spirits of the Island”), who a few months ago revealed his participation that means the return to work with Phoenix after “The Village”. The title of the film “Folie à Deux” means a term – or diagnosis – that in its translation means “shared madness”, which introduces the character of Gaga, who we will see in action on October 4, 2024, the date scheduled for the premiere of this second part.
