According to the governor of La Rioja, “recovering” Randazzo, Camaño, Monzó and Squiaretti would benefit Peronism

A little less than a month after the closing of the lists, some candidacies and political alliances with which the ruling party seeks to continue in power are still being defined. That is why, a large number of personalities of the Frente de Todos have expressed themselves in this regard. One of them is the governor of La Rioja, Ricardo Quintela, who through an interview he gave to Radio 10, said that “I am interested, above all things, in unity, any comrade who leaves the consensus with or without PASO will be accompanied to death and we also have to recover those who have left like Randazzo, Camaño, Monzó and Squiaretti”. He also refused to pronounce himself in favor or against an internal one, because “first there has to be dialogue, the consensus that allows to put on the table and in the center of the scene a viable program with a strong control over the profits of the effort of the Argentines, as Cristina proposed.” As for the situation in the country, he said that “in that we all have responsibility, both Cristina and Alberto and Sergio Massa, to sit at a table and discuss what the program is and provide minimal guidance on this.” Then, when asked about a possible candidacy of Interior Minister Wado de Pedro, he declared that “he has all the conditions because he knows the idiosyncrasies of each people of Argentina,” and that this is something that “does not happen in any candidate of Together for Change, and less in Milei.” Finally, he made it clear that “we have to win if or if, we cannot hand over the country to the right again.”
