Cecilia’s mother led another march in Chaco: “I am peaceful, I want justice and I don’t want revenge”

On Sunday, Gloria Romero again held a massive demonstration in Resistencia, capital of the province of Chaco, to continue with her claim for the disappearance and alleged femicide of her daughter, Cecilia Strzyzowski.As detailed by Telam, Gloria was wearing a shirt of the Argentine National Team that had the 10 and the name of Messi on the back and a pink star stuck on the front that said “Justice for Cecilia”. In addition, she was accompanied by Mercedes, Cecilia’s great-aunt, and lawyers Fernando Burlando, Juan Arreguin, Fernando Amendola and Sergio Briend.There, in the speech she gave to the five thousand people who accompanied her, she said that “the demonstrations I want to make are peaceful and artistic, I do not want to fight with anyone. They told me that there are infiltrators and that it is going to be a provocation. I am peaceful, I want justice and I don’t want revenge. I’m not going to break anything, I’m not imposing myself. If we do the same thing they do, it is a war of poor against poor, whoever wants to go, I will not go.” She added: “I was very happy to see a lot of men. I always said: ‘How can it be that in the marches we are only women? Are there no fathers, brothers, husbands?’ Today they played it. That’s how I like it. Accompany your women and do not be afraid. Fear paralyzes and these people rule by fear.” In addition, the demonstrators also carried signs with insignia that read “we are not all, Cecilia is missing”, “the guilty who receive all the punishment of divine justice”, “I march today so that tomorrow they do not march for me”, “we do not want another Ceci” and “justice for Cecilia”, along with Argentine flags and “Ni Una Menos”. Finally, Cecilia’s mother closed the mobilization by leading a return to the central square of Resistencia to continue with the request for justice for her daughter while a case continues to develop that, for the moment, has seven detainees.
