Aeroparque: the Intercargo strike that affected more than 6,000 passengers was lifted

Intercargo workers lifted last night the measure of force that delayed at least 50 flights that had to take off from the Jorge Newbery Metropolitan Airport and other parts of the country and affected more than 6,000 users. It is the state company that provides ramp services and is responsible for moving passengers and their luggage from the terminal to the planes and vice versa, among other actions. The strike began after noon on Tuesday and caused real chaos at the airport of the City of Buenos Aires, where passengers crowded waiting for a solution. Throughout the day, the measure was replicated in other parts of the country. As explained from the company, the union of aeronautical personnel Association of Aeronautical Personnel (APA) “took a measure of force against the company Swissport. It originates from the claim of affiliation of Swissport personnel who provide service on domestic flights of Jet Smart and Latam”. They reported, in turn, that they presented to the Ministry of Labor the request for mandatory conciliation on May 24, June 7 and again today (Tuesday) July 11, so we are waiting for the dictation of the same. ” The resolution, finally, came about 22 this Tuesday. Early Wednesday, however, at least eight flights were delayed and two were canceled.
