Roberto García Moritán declined his pre-candidacy for head of the Buenos Aires Government

Roberto García Moritán announced on his social networks that he declined his pre-candidacy for head of the Buenos Aires Government a few days before the Primary, Open, Simultaneous and Mandatory (PASO) elections. In his Twitter account, García Moritán informed along with a video, his decision to accompany Jorge Macri in his pre-candidacy for head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires. For almost two years, I have been working for the porteños so that we can live with more freedom, more order, less bureaucracy and less taxes,” García Moritán’s video began.  He also referred again to the situation of the pickets and pronounced: “The circumstances demand that we put aside personal interests and unite all those who believe that the pickets are wrong, that taxes drown us, and that SMEs have to be protagonists of the city that is coming.” I decided to join Jorge Macri’s team with United Republicans to govern the city”, and then concluded: “Thank you all for the love you give me in the street, and to this brave team that accompanies me in this enormous mission, know that a very important challenge lies ahead. We are going to build a city where order and freedom prevail. We deserve to live better and together we will achieve it.”
