Mauricio Macri against the Government: “It is very sad to hear how they see us in the world”

The former president of the Nation, Mauricio Macri, returned to the country after several days in Europe and lost no time in expressing his position on the economic measures implemented by the current Government. During the morning of Sunday, he could be seen touring the Rural Exhibition, and there he did not hesitate to question the recent government decisions, considering them as “patch after patch”. In his statements, Macri was in favor of Patricia Bullrich and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta sharing a bunker to wait for the result of the PASO. “The most important thing is to generate a change in what is coming and doing it together will give us many more possibilities,” he said. However, his statements did not focus solely on the political sphere. Consulted by the media present at the Palermo property, the former president expressed his concern about the economic situation in Argentina, stating that “things are bad.” He also mentioned the deterioration of the country’s image abroad, mentioning with sadness how the international perception of Argentina has changed since its participation in the G20. It is very sad to hear how we are seen in the world, especially after we were seen differently during the G20 era. You have to believe that this is over and a new stage starts,” Macri said, alluding to the need to change the current course.
