Waterlogging is reported on the Siglo XXI Highway

Taretan, Michoacán.- After the rains recorded during the last hours, on Wednesday morning motorists have reported flooding due to water runoff, on the Siglo XXI Highway, where a private car overturned, without people being injured and near the same area a pipe suffered an accident.
First, “streams” of water were reported that generated flooding in the Taretan – Sana Casilda road section, mainly at kilometer 111, where even a black compact car overturned and ended up partially obstructing the road.
Paramedics were transferred to the site to check the health status of the occupants of the vehicle, who fortunately do not have serious injuries.
Just two kilometers from the first point, at kilometer 113, a pipe ended up injured on the boundary, after allegedly breaking a marker.
In the area there are already agents of the National Guard of the Division Security in Roads and Facilities, to carry out the respective expertise, supported by the personnel of Road Assistance, which performs flag work.
Given the current weather conditions, the authorities recommend extreme precautions to avoid accidents, since the asphalt is wet, and in some points visibility is reduced.
