The Techint Group started the national tour to incorporate students and recent graduates for the Young Professionals Program (JP) and the Summer Educational Internship (PEV). With the slogan “Be the protagonist of your professional future”, the search is aimed at university students who have passed at least 50% of the career or graduates of the following careers: Industrial Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Materials, Petroleum, Mechanics, Mechatronics or Electromechanics, Chemistry, Systems; Business Administration and Contador.La call is until November 2 and until that date the company will visit towns in Tucumán, Salta, San Juan, Mendoza, Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Córdoba and Neuquén to incorporate at least 400 young people to the multiple companies of the Group. The JP and PEV initiatives are part of the Career Plan for Techint teams, which includes differentiated programs at all levels of the organization. In 2022, more than 251 participants of these programs joined the company, of which about 40% were women. Lara Lascurain, Talent Management Director of the Techint Group stated that “these programs allow young people to live a first real experience in the labor field, acquire knowledge, and take the first step of their professional career. We see in JPs and ENPs the leaders of the company’s future”
“The internship was a memorable experience, which allowed me to apply all the knowledge learned during my career and learn many things that are only seen in practice,” said Paula Erdosio, an electrical engineering student at the National University of the South, Bahía Blanca, who did her Summer Educational Internship at Techint Engineering and Construction. The Young Professionals Program (JP), a pioneer in Argentina, is aimed at recent graduates or students in their final year of career who are looking for effective incorporation. Throughout the experience, participants will have the opportunity to train, network with colleagues from around the world and rotate areas to have a global vision of the company. It is a strategic tool, designed to guarantee the development of professionals with the potential to become the future leaders of the Techint Group companies.
