Michoacán only expects results and solutions from the State Government: GPPAN

Morelia, Michoacán.- Michoacán expects only one thing from the second government report, results and solutions, said Deputy David Alejandro Cortés Mendoza, who issued the statement on behalf of the Parliamentary Group of the National Action Party in the State Congress in the framework of the delivery of the 2nd State Government Report, as reported in a statement.
In a solemn session where Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla delivered the glose of the 2nd Report of the state of the public administration of the State of Michoacán, David Cortés assured that the PAN deputies will review, analyze and debate the document in detail. He also stressed the challenges that are still faced in the framework of the second year of state government.
“Michoacán continues to face an enormous challenge, a challenge to which its rulers, regardless of color, continue without paying their citizens; security. Which Michoacan is being built? The present where the Civil Guard extorts and assaults citizens?, The present where the problems experienced by the lemon trees of Apatzingán are not addressed?. The present where there are only hugs and not bullets? Michoacan deserves more, Michoacan wants peace, Michoacan dreams of peace, Michoacan longs for peace,” he said.
David Cortés, affirmed that the deputies of the GPPAN have shown commitment and dedication for the citizenship in expediting legislatively what was a priority, because they have been very clear about an unrestricted principle for National Action, which is the common good.
“In national action we are the voice of those who have not been able to remain silent, we are the facts that have wanted to obscure and we are the result of decades of tireless struggle.”
In this regard, he also listed the great challenges that require the unity of all powers and political forces, such as; restore peace and tranquility in society, respect the division of powers, recognize women to live a life free of violence, as well as contribute to achieving gender parity, open channels for genuine citizen participation, as well as that education is based on the legitimate right to education, not in the imposition of a political and economic model, and pending issues such as the environment and young people, and finally carry out a full electoral process.
Given all this, David Cortés said that as a united Parliamentary Group, they will support the State Government only in decisions that benefit Michoacanos, but they will raise their voices against what harms them, “our position is one of collaboration, but also of debate, of transiting but also of not allowing possible abuses of power, of reaching agreements but without leaving aside our ideological position. And so we will stay,” he emphasized.
