The sale of real estate in CABA grew 32.7% year-on-year in August

According to a report prepared by the Buenos Aires Association of Notaries, real estate transactions in the city of Buenos Aires registered an increase of 32.7% in August, compared to the same period last year. In that same month, 4,135 deeds of sale were finalized, compared to 3,117 in the same month of the previous year, for a total amount of $ 132,943 million, which represented a year-on-year increase of 218.9%. The average amount of the operations carried out, meanwhile, was $ 32,150,886 in national currency and US $ 95,718 in its equivalent in dollars.” It may be a striking fact, but – in the month of more volatility – it was the best record of the year with 4,135 operations, which means an increase of 32% year-on-year and 23% compared to July, “said the president of the Buenos Aires Association of Notaries, Jorge De Bártolo. ” All months (of 2023) have been positive compared to the same periods of 2022 and it is a cumulative of 23,400 operations, compared to 20,000 last year,” he added. In the comparison with July, there was an increase of 23.2% in the number of operations, compared to the 3,357 completed in that month. In August, there were 178 deeds formalized with bank mortgage, with an increase in this segment of 40.2% compared to the same month last year; while in the accumulated of the eight months, the increase is 5.1% (961 in total).
