Makeup in the cinema, by Ariadna Ponce at the Animal Film Fest

Morelia, Michoacán. – In the cultural center of the UNAM, located on the aqueduct avenue, a presentation was made on Friday, given by the film makeup artist, Ariadna Ponce.
This within the alternate activities that the Animal Film Fest has and detailing certain aspects that a makeup artist performs on a film set, such as continuity makeup, basic special effects and the function of the makeup department in a shoot.
Ariadna Ponce has been working in the world of cinema since 2015, with more than fifteen projects in her curriculum, in addition to winning in 2017, the Feratum award, as best makeup in the short film, “Los Homenajeadores” by the director, Rodrigo Orozco.

As part of her lecture, Ariadna Ponce showed her skills as a makeup artist by exemplifying the types of blood she uses and how to create it, she also exhibited how a burn is made, all this in the practical part of her talk, so that people will observe a little the process she does in her work as a makeup artist.
