Lautaro Alvaredo, the young man brutally beaten at the exit of a bowling alley in Laferrere, died

Lautaro Alvaredo, the 19-year-old who was hospitalized brain dead after being beaten at the exit of a bowling alley in the Buenos Aires town of Gregorio de Laferrere, died on Friday, his family confirmed. The boy had been admitted to the Mariano Moreno clinic in that town since the day of the attack, but his condition was “irreversible,” according to the doctors’ prognosis. However, his parents had refused to wean him off the ventilator, as they had some hope of recovery, especially after seeing some small motor signs. In fact, the parents had trusted that Lautaro moved his fingers and shoulders when he was stimulated, so they did not allow INCUCAI to intervene to donate his organs.” They (the doctors) continue in their position that he is brain dead, but I asked them not to do anything against it but to do anything that is in favor of Lautaro,” Diego, his father, explained in statements to the press in recent days. The doctors, for their part, explained at the time that one of the possibilities is that these reactions were “electrical reflections” coming from the bone marrow, since it was proven that the outlook was as serious as the first day. With regard to the judicial situation, at the moment there are only two young people in custody: Fabricio Román Stella, 18, and Ian Agustín Noguera Galeano, 19, who turned themselves in at a nearby police station, accused of “aggravated homicide by treachery and by the premeditated concurrence of three or more people”. On November 6, after an argument at the Cyryx bowling alley, located at 5700 Luro Avenue, a fight broke out at the exit in which Lautaro was kicked in the head, he was unconscious, in that state he entered the clinic and died after eleven days of hospitalization. Lautaro’s crime, similar to that of Fernando Báez Sosa in 2020, is being investigated by prosecutor Matías Folino, of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) Thematic Intentional Homicides of the La Matanza Judicial Department.
