Uruapan, Michoacán.- A young pedestrian was the target of a shooting attack on the public road of the La Piñera neighborhood of the city of Uruapan. The victim was hit at least 7 times and died at the scene.
About the crime it was learned that the victim was at the corner of Los Pinos and Encino streets, where they arrived with guns, who had him in their sights shot him and then fled.
Some people noticed what happened and requested help from the emergency service, so elements of the Municipal Police and the Civil Guard, as well as Civil Protection paramedics, were transferred to the area.
The rescuers checked the victim, observing with the naked eye that he had at least 7 gunshot wounds and already lacked vital signs, confirming his death. The area was cordoned off by Public Safety personnel.
A multidisciplinary group from the Attorney General’s Office carried out a meticulous collection of evidence and testimonies, to begin with the corresponding investigation file.
The identity of the now deceased is unknown, it is a male between 25 and 30 years of age, whose body was sent to the Forensic Medical Service of the region, for the practice of the respective autopsy.
