After the strong storm, operations at Aeroparque are beginning to return to normal

After the intense storm that occurred this morning, which forced the suspension of flights at Aeroparque, around 9 a.m., operations were resumed at Aeropuertos Argentina 2000. Likewise, it is expected that they will return to their normal state as the different airlines make the necessary reschedules. At the moment, 52 arrivals and 57 departures have been cancelled. In addition, regarding the damage suffered by the strong storm that hit both Buenos Aires and much of the country, it was reported:- The terminal has broken glass and blindex due to the strong winds.
– In the International Arrivals area, part of the corridor was damaged, although it does not affect the operation.
– In the Domestic Pre-boarding area, there is damage to the roof of gates 10, 11 and 12, with two doors disabled.
– Several hangars suffered the loss of roofs.
– General damage to parked aircraft is reported.
– In the parking area, damage is observed to the roof of the sixth floor.
– In the vicinity, there are reports of fallen trees on the avenue Costanera.De this way, the teams of Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 work in coordination with the agencies involved in the commercial air activity to carry out the necessary repairs as soon as possible.
