Survivor of the massacre at former Salvatierra ranch tells what happened – MonitorExpresso.com

The armed attack reported on the night of December 17 left 11 people dead and 14 wounded, one of the latter offered testimony to the AFP agency, which asked not to be identified for security reasons.
The massacre took place at the former hacienda of San José del Carmen, in Salvatierra, Guanajuato. According to the first hypothesis of the Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office, it was a group of ‘colados’ along with other armed men who opened fire on the guests at the inn.
According to the victim, there were six individuals who opened fire on the young people who were in the inn, using long guns. The men paraded among a hundred young people who were at the former hacienda.
“We realized that they were not invited, when they asked them who they were, they started shooting,” he said, detailing that it was a Christmas posada of friends, all young people from the town.
At the same time, according to the survivor, a man gave the order to kill all the people who were in the place, unleashing chaos and violence in the inn.
“Kill them all,” the victim of the attack in Salvatierra heard.
When they heard the detonation of the firearms, some tried to leave the place, he said, but the attackers caught up with them at the gates of the hacienda.
