FMK at Lollapalooza: “We’re always looking to connect with people, that’s the most important thing”

Day 3 of Lollapalooza Argentina was not only the last day of the massive festival but also the first time that FMK got up to give their own show within that context.” In 2023 I came as an accompanist to sing ‘Prende la cámara’ with Tiago PZK and I said ‘What madness all these people’ and today it was guy ‘What a all these people,’ but well,” he confesses to Filo.news some time after his debut. With a performance scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on the Perry’s stage, the 24-year-old urban artist was surprised to see the amount of audience that stayed to listen to him: “Before going out I gossiped to see how many people there were, but there was the canvas that didn’t let me see much. We went out and started singing and a lot more came along, it made me a little nervous, but also joy and emotion, it was shocking.” One of the surprises was Emanero’s participation: “Fede was chosen because he wanted to invite one of the kids and he considered that he deserved that place at Lollapalooza. We sang ‘Bandido’ and then ‘Atorrante’ and he smashed it, people loved it too so a little bit of that.” After his debut at Lollapalooza Argentina, Enzo -his real name- is preparing to do the same in Spain: “We’re going to plant a little bit of a flag and show the show we’re doing. We are preparing something new for all my people in Spain: on the 12th we are going to Granada, then we have a date for August 2nd and in the middle we are going to be in other little places that are being talked about for now.” Meanwhile, FMK sums up his goal for each show: “What we always try to do in the show is to connect with people, I think that’s the most important thing, then if you sing well, badly, well, but if you transmit it to the audience, that’s it. We always try to focus our energy on that.”
