H.I.J.O.S. denounced a “political attack” against a militant: she was abused and threatened with death

The group H.I.J.O.S. Rosario denounced a “political attack” against a militant, whose identity they preferred to preserve. Two men broke into the woman’s house and warned that they were not going to rob, “we came to kill you. That’s what we get paid for,” the attackers told him during the episode. Before leaving, the attackers drew on one of the walls of the house “VLLC”, the slogan of the governing party, La Libertad Avanza, and the initials with which President Javier Milei himself signs his messages. The attack took place on March 5 during the night when the H.I.J.O.S. militant entered her apartment on her way back from work. But, after denouncing it and the file being squabbled between the national and federal courts, the group publicly denounced this morning the “attempt” on the life of the militant, which it defined as “a political attack motivated by her militancy in human rights and feminists.” “Nothing of value was stolen, only folders with information about our group were taken,” they said in a statement. In the statement that began circulating this morning, the group blames the national government and demands “the immediate clarification of the fact by the Judiciary.” The events took place almost 20 days before the anniversary of the civilian-military coup d’état, in that context, the group highlighted: “Our people said ‘Never Again, Memory, Truth and Justice always’.” These events have a clear correlation with the actions and hate speeches that the highest authorities of the country express on a daily basis and incite violence against those of us who militate for human rights,” warned the regional of the National Network of H.I.J.O.S.Al when asked about the attack, the presidential spokesman, Manuel Adorni, asked that the “Justice move forward” and find those responsible so that “they pay for their acts.”
