Michoacán. – The state leaders in Michoacán of the National Action Party (PAN), Ma. del Refugio Cabrera Hermosillo, the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), Guillermo Valencia Reyes, and the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD), Octavio Ocampo Córdova, denounced the lack of conditions to live democracy to the fullest in the face of threats to candidates who make up the common candidacy of the three political forces in the state. In this regard, the PRD leader pointed out that in the specific case of Paracuaro, the campaign team of the candidate of the three parties, Julisa Farias, has received threatening messages and has withdrawn advertising from the candidate in that locality and is waiting for the authorities to provide her with the necessary protection. “She is a very brave woman, she has not been chartered and these messages that her campaign team has received, we do not know where they come from, we do not know who she is, the truth is, that they begin to intimidate, with messages, to take away her tarpaulins and this of course we do regret very much, I hope that tomorrow, The authorities have already given us an answer as to why security has not been assigned to him.” Despite the threats and fear that try to bring the aspirant’s team into Parácuaro, Ocampo Córdova affirmed that she will not retire and remains firm in search of achieving victory on June 2. “Our colleague from Parácuaro is not going to retire, she is campaigning, what is true is that they are trying to put fear and anxiety into the campaign team that she has, but she is not withdrawing, she remains firm.”
