Pátzcuaro, Michoacán. – Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla attended the tribute to engineer Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas Solórzano on the occasion of his 90 years of life and commitment to democracy, honesty and causes of the people of Mexico, according to a statement. In his speech, he recognized that the social fighter marked the path of popular democratization in Mexico through his political and social leadership, which has left a mark on the struggle for a more just and equitable country. He stressed that the commitment to follow the ideals of General Lázaro Cárdenas laid the foundations of a social policy that marked the course of the country to fulfill the promises of the Mexican Revolution and break the authoritarian petrification of the system.
