Elements of the Civil Guard demonstrate for discount in Banbajio – MonitorExpresso.com

Morelia, Mich.- On Tuesday morning, elements of the Civil Guard from various groups of the Ministry of Public Security, demonstrated at the facilities of this institution, after which they closed doors and blocked the Morelia Highway. A dialogue table was established where various agreements were reached. With demands to speak with the Secretary of Public Security, José Alfredo Ortega Reyes, they first concentrated on the esplanade of said institution, to later close the four accesses to the premises, and block the Periférico Paseo de la República in the southern area of the city of Morelia, preventing the passage of motorists in both directions. The nonconformities that the elements express are; first the payment of 15% of the “Banbajio” bonus, which on this occasion was deducted from them, adequate equipment for the operational elements, salary increase and homologation, some of the elements even request the dismissal of the incumbent. They also expressed that in some cases they do not have the optimal conditions to carry out their work in favor of the citizenry, and they are afraid of the reprisals that could exist derived from these demonstrations. We are giving what every police gives, life for the country, for the citizenship, to be able to bring sustenance to the house, we need to be heard, since the police are the most screwed,” said an element. Personnel from the Secretariat of Government, the administrative delegate of SSP and César Erwin Sánchez, from the Executive Secretariat of State Public Security, were present at the site, with whom a dialogue table was established with 10 elements to address their concerns. After the dialogue table with the competent authorities, the police officers said that they reached an agreement, but they have until Friday to solve them or deliver the corresponding bond of the Ban Bajío, otherwise they will take the facilities again, as well as the southern bypass. However, when discussing with the troops the agreements made, those who maintain the road blockade expressed themselves against freeing them, until they were given a signed letter with these resolutions. Until 2 p.m., the road remains closed.
