Milei hit Lula and Pedro Sánchez again: “The things I said on top of it are true”

The day after the Basic Law was approved by the National Congress, President Javier Milei once again criticized his counterparts from Brazil, Lula Da Silva, and Spain, Pedro Sánchez, and denied the possibility of apologizing for his statements. Through an interview with La Nación +, he made it clear that “the interests of Argentines and Brazilians are more important than the inflamed ego of some lefty,” and that “the things I said about them are true. What are the problems? What did I say corrupt? And wasn’t he imprisoned for corruption? And what did I say to him, communist? And isn’t he a communist? Since when should we apologize for telling the truth? Or are we so sick of political correctness that you can’t say anything to the left?” In addition, he recalled his confrontation with the president of Spain: “It is such a small discussion; it seems like a discussion of creatures, of pre-adolescents. It is the same mechanism of Petro, of Sánchez.” Don’t you think that Lula and Petro did not do similar things? In the case of Lula actively getting involved in our electoral campaign? Sánchez also demanded that he be apologized. Petro also demanded that he be apologized,” he continued. In that sense, he recalled what happened during the electoral campaign: “Don’t you think that the negative campaign that Massa made against me promoted from Brazil was not aggressive? Who was the counterpart? Are you going to apologize to me for the amount of lies they told throughout the campaign?” Do those who lied demand that they be asked for forgiveness because one told them the truth? You have to put yourself above these trifles, because the interests of Argentines and Brazilians are more important than the inflamed ego of some lefty,” he concluded.
