Hidalgo state governor Omar Fayad claims that his wife and also actress Victoria Ruffo remains in solitary confinement, as are his two children, after he tested positive for Covid-19 or the coronavirus.
In an interview with Milenio Televisión, the state representative gave details of how he became infected, of his discomfort and of the care he has begun when he was diagnosed with this evil that until last night showed him no symptoms.
He said the saddest thing is that he will stop overseeing in person all the actions he has taken to deal with the pandemic in the state and that he will not be able to embrace his family.
When questioned about his wife and children’s health, the governor clarified that they have already been tested for the virus and were negative.
However, he commented that they remain isolated to avoid risks.
At an express question about his family’s health, Omar Fayad replied: “My wife is isolated and my children were tested because I had contact with them, they are also isolated, they were tested and they all came negative”
