This Wednesday, April 15, 43 more people died from the disease caused by coronavirus COVID-19, an increase of 10.5%, compared to April 14, for a total of 449 deaths.
At a press conference, health authorities also reported an 8.3% increase in positive cases, for a total of 5,847 people with the virus.
Undersecretary of Health Hugo López Gatell explained that municipalities are experiencing major outbreaks, even if the state does not have a strong amount of contagion, such as Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo; Culiacan, Sinaloa, La Paz, Baja California Sur; Tijuana, in Baja California, as well as in the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico.
