Arnaldo André was born on November 11, 1943 in Paraguay, but at the age of five he came with his family to our country, where he lived until the age of nine, when with his parents they returned to their native country. However, Arnaldo returned to Argentina to become an actor, and from that day on in Argentine half as well. His stage debut that launched him to fame was in the 1970s, having co-starred with Mirtha Legrand in the play 40 caravels. He then participated in several films such as: My Friend Luis with Luis Sandrini. But his forte was on the small screen, where he became pregnant as a soap opera. His first starring role came with Pobre Diabla, alongside Soledad Silveyra. .
In 1975 he put the body to Juan Manuel Alinari, in Piel Naranja, with Marilina Ross, and with which night by night they achieved 60 rating points.
In the 1980s he formed a memorable couple with Luisa Kuliok, in strips such as Amor gitano, Amo y señor and El infiel, and in the 1990s starred in the novel “Loving You I and II”.
He also made several novels for Mexico and Venezuela. In 2007 he appeared in the play The Sacred Monsters of Jean Cocteau, together with Graciela Martinelli and Claudia Lapacó.Then he participated in several Pol-Ka novels such as Valientes, with his character of Laureano Gómez Acuña, which earned him his first Martín Fierro in 2013. He was also part of Soy Gitano, and Los Ones.
During 2011 he set out to produce his first film in film as a director, called Reading according to Justino. This autobiographical film, which treats his childhood in the city of San Bernardino, Paraguay, was shot on the shores of Lake Ypacaraí between February and April 2012 and premiered on May 10, 2013 in Paraguay.
Arnaldo also wrote the autobiographical book “For What You and I Know,” published in 2018. And in the framework of the 44th International Book Fair of Buenos Aires, he presented his memoirs, on the site of La Rural.
