In the midst of the second wave of coronavirus, the restrictions imposed to slow its progress and the complicated health situation that other countries in the region are experiencing, Aerolíneas Argentinas suspended all its operations to four international destinations: (a) Punta Cana and Cancun between 15 May and 31 August; and Rio de Janeiro and Santa Cruz de la Sierra between May 15 and June 30. This was confirmed by Pablo Ceriani, president of the flag carrier, through his official Twitter account.
