an important post of the White House wrote an anonymous article in The New York Times where he explains that the greatest problem of Donald Trump is that you part d (e) his Cabinet works in coordination to frustrate some of his most damaging policies.
It is the first time that The New York Times publishes an opinion piece from a source that remains anonymous and that uncovers a stream against a representative within the Government itself.
The author explains in the unusual text efforts to undo some of the initiatives of Trump are not part of a “popular resistance of the left”.
“We want the Administration to succeed and we believe that many of the policies already have made US safer and more prosperous,” explains the author of the article, which adds that the reason is that Trump acts “in detriment to the health of our Republic”.
“So that many of the individuals designated by Trump have sworn to do what we can to preserve our democratic institutions while we minimim more wrong Trump impulses until you leave his office”, he stressed.
In the text, stands out to many advisors and officials of the White House adopted as ‘villains’ by the press, but that in private “have done everything possible to maintain poor decisions contained in the West Wing”.
The letter also reveals that in the initial phase of the current mandate, the Government Cabinet members arrived to consider starting a process of impeachment of the President, but “nobody wanted to provoke a constitutional crisis”.
By way of reflection, the text of the anonymous source raises that the main issue is not what Trump has done with the Presidency, but that the American people has allowed him to make to the nation.
“We have fallen very low with him and we have allowed the deletion of civility in our discourse,” he says.
