Ramallah, West Bank (AP) – Palestinian activists placed five containers near a Bedouin village to protest the expected demolition of the West Bank settlement on the part of Israel.El camp of Khan al – Ahmar is centered on what critics describe as continuous displacement of the Palestinians by Israel. European countries called this week on the israeli Government to avoid carrying out the demolition.
According to Israel, Khan al – Ahmar was built illegally and offered to relocate residents 12 kilometers (seven miles) away. Critics argue that the Elimination of the village seeks to make room to an israeli settlement.
The Supreme Court of Israel rejected an appeal last week, paved the way for the demolition. Palestinian activist Abdallah Abu Rahmeh said Tuesday that the placement of white containers, one with the Palestinian flag, is a message to Israel that “is our right to build in our land”.
