6-18 October, Buenos Aires will raise the curtain of the third edition of the Youth Olympic Games.
For 13 days, nearly four thousand athletes aged between 15 and 18 and from 206 countries shall seek to climb to the top of the podium in their respective sports. Among them, there will be 141 Argentine illusions that kept the dream of being Olympic and enjoy a unique experience in their land.
As the host country, there will be representatives Argentines in action in all stages of competition, even in karate, the break – dance, sport climbing and speed skating, sports that will make its debut on the Olympic program.
The great Argentine delegation, cutting edge News made a selection of some of the athletes who stand out, either for their achievements at the international level or wholesale experience. Does that mean that they are required to step onto the podium and fill the Argentine medal count? No way. They are just athletes to follow closely and accompany them on their way.
