Morelia, Michoacan.-around 200 young people from the CEUN and student houses gathered this Saturday morning to participate in the “2nd trash collection campaign” within city University, activity which aimed raising awareness about the protection of the environment and the care of the nicolaitans facilities.
According to Norberto Monroy Peñaloza, head of the Department of Student Affairs of the House of Hidalgo, this activity was attended by approximately 200 young people from the student houses affiliated to the current student University Nicolás (CEUN), plus other three independent: servant of the nation, young guard and 16 September.
Nicolás official acknowledged the interest shown by the students and the effort to participate in the day of cleaning – which took place one weekend from 8 in the morning – because, in addition to contributing to the respect for the environment You can generate awareness in care facilities where carried out their studies.

The day of cleaning was organized in six teams: four within the facilities of University City and two groups on the periphery of the nicolaitans facilities. It is estimated that they gathered about a ton of debris that were separated into: pet, cardboard and organic waste.
Said it is also expected that this Sunday to continue the days of cleaning with the participation of young people in the homes of students assigned to the Coordinator of University students in fight. Expected to attend 120 boys of the Sports Committee of the organization.
