in a day of mobilizations and claims against the Government of Mauricio Macri, the opposition managed to get a quorum after several negotiations, but failed to get the number to approve l to battery projects that led to the enclosure. The main projects sought to stop the tarifazos, similar to the of months ago that the Government decided to veto and on exemption from income tax to pensioners. However, as projects fell to the enclosure without Commission’s opinion the opposition needed a special two-thirds majority, which was never possible.
Luana Volnovich, Member of the front for victory, said the project of his caucus that calls to “define a regime specific and up to so much that happens that no retiree pay profits” within the period of one year. Mirta Tundis, meanwhile pleaded in favour of “legislating in the sense of what the Court and give answers to our elders”.
The other segment of the debate, focused to pass a Bill to regulate the tariff increases, nor succeeded, but there were speeches of several members. One of them was Axel Kicillof, who criticized the dollarization of the energy rates.
“This is not a policy, it is a disaster. “We come to discuss how to fix the way more verbose but more rapid possible rate disaster which have armed”, said.
Pablo Kosiner, meanwhile, asked the Government that “the tariff policy of this Government to regain predictability, graduality and razonabildiad” that he questioned people criticizing the Government “not because you don’t want to pay the ticket but because you can’t”.
