As for expansion, the company inaugurated a new cement plant in Arica along with national and regional authorities, which is expected have a production of 200,000 tonnes a year. With an investment of US $16 million, this plant will provide a solution close to the future projects of public and private infrastructure carried out in the North of Chile. In addition, is expected to sell part of its production to Peru and, at the same time, develop synergies with future company factory in the South of the country. It’s the fifth factory of the company, which is in addition to those that they already have in Antofagasta, Sant’Antonio, Teno and Talcahuano.
