Morelia, Michoacan.-‘Neighbourhood heart’ is the name of the call launched by the Ministry of culture of Morelia and which is addressed to all the citizens of the municipality over 18 years, completed to the date of issuance of the present, incorporated in partnership civil, group or collective; or an individual whose main objective is to generate in the community ownership, valuation and deep significance of what they are and what the artists, through sharing their knowledge and create own cultural products as a route to overcrowd the culture in the municipality as one of the axes of the Morelia Government headed by the municipal President, Raul Orozco Moron.
“Neighborhood with heart”, explained Cardiela Amézcua Luna, owner of municipal SeCultura, aims to citizenship that lives around where he lives or rehearse an artist, know, get involved and values the creative processes, to experience them and be part of a cultural product, created in community with the artists of his neighborhood.
The creative processes and their results are the project to deliver by the artist, which should be directed to their neighbors, who should be invited to participate in open way, with a commitment to lasting from May to December 2019 culminating in a great meeting “District co” Heart n’ in the Valladolid Plaza of Morelia. Each of them will have follow-up and support by experts in cultural outreach, and six projects will be selected by a jury consisting of three experts on the subject. The results are final.
The owner of SeCultura in the company of Cesar Cortes, director of symbolic culture, and Netzahualcóyotl Ávalos, head of the Department of heritage and identity, said that you among the selection criteria, it is: cultural relevance of the project; Creativity, innovation, sustainability and self-management strategy; Impact social, cultural and environmental; Feasibility, logistic and organizational; and economic feasibility. Each selected project will receive a resource of 4 thousand pesos a month, distributed in three ministrations of May to December 2019.
The results of this call for proposals will be published in media and social networks in the city of Morelia and the municipal Secretary of culture, on Friday, May 24, 2019. While the ceremony of the “Neighborhood with heart” program and delivery of first ministration to the selected projects, will be held on Monday, may 27 at 18:00 in the Plaza de la Paz, located in Avenida Nocupétaro corner with Valentín Gómez Farías.
The inscriptions
The registration period will be from the publication of this call and until Monday, 20 may 2019, on schedule from 10:00 to 15:00 hours from Monday to Friday, in the direction of symbolic culture of the Secretariat of culture of Morelia located at Avenida Madero Poniente, #398 Interior 11, colonia Centro Morelia, Michoacán.
The person concerned must appear in physical engargolado project, with the required documentation in three goals, and will be a tab of registration with a folio number.
