translated from Spanish: The expected expansion of the E subway line arrives

Many citizens of Buenos Aires agree that the subway line E is one of the most postponed; In fact, the bidding to develop this enlargement was done 20 years ago. Finally, Monday, June 3 will be inaugurated and will be available for operation. These are three new stations (Central Mail, Catalinas and Retiro) that add 2 kilometres to the route and 63,000 passengers to the network.

We toured with @horaciorlarreta the new station Central Mail of the line E that together with the stations Catalinas and Retiro will connect this line with the lines of train Mitre, San Martín and Belgrano Norte. Another work promised years ago and that today is already a reality. pic.twitter.com/1IR6Z5hR3l — Guillo Dietrich (@Guillodietrich)

From now on, the passengers on the E-line will be able to combine with the B (which was not possible before), with the Mitre, San Martín and Belgrano trains, the Buquebus terminal and 30 Metrobus lines. In addition, there will be a new connection point with line C in Retiro (the other is I Ndependencia) and from now on will be two lines that arrive to the bus Terminal.

We are transforming the E line so that every day you travel better. Today with @Guillodietrich we toured the new Central Mail station, which will benefit thousands of neighbors. Most of the porteños move in subway and thanks to this work we add more free time for all. pic.twitter.com/YOPtX9xYgK — Horacio Rodríguez Larreta (@horaciorlarreta)
