Veracruz-. A group of altruistic neighbors, motivated by helping their neighbor, Mrs. Rosita, who lived in a humble house of pictures, decided to organize themselves and build among all a new house for her and her children. The copy was given in the community of Buenavista, located in the municipality of Ixtaczoquitlán, Veracruz, and began when the neighbor Victor Medina Naranjo shared through his Facebook account a publication requesting help for the noble cause.
Both building materials and labor were requested through the publication, which was accompanied by images of the home of Mrs. Rosita, a humble woman who has lived all her life in a foil house and tarpaulins with her children.
Among the list of materials required were tarpaulins, lime, wire, nail, sand, recording, and even floor-to-ceiling windows. The original idea was to build the neighbor a single room of five by four meters, as well as a bathroom, thus helping at least the family to have a better place to sleep.
However, enthusiasm and altruism were so many that the publication quickly vetoed and help began to come from everywhere, from neighbors, friends and even U.S. residents collaborated to make this cause possible. It was thus that not only did he meet what was necessary to build the new room of Mrs. Rosita, but what was required for a complete house. With the help of the neighbors and all the other people who rose to solid, the new house was built and finished in just 20 days. Finally, the house was handed over to its new owner last Thursday, June 20th, in a celebration that was met by all the neighbors of the community. It was even attended by the musical group “Los Caracoles”, which enlivened the poignant moment.
