Brazil.- In the pure style of the Spanish television series “La casa de Papel”, thieves took 750 kilos of gold in a heist that lasted barely a few minutes and occurred in broad daylight.
The thieves wore federal police uniforms, similar vehicles and very similar Identifications. Eight men managed to carry 750 kilos of gold at Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport (Brazil) in just a few minutes and in broad daylight during a heist reminiscent of those planned by ‘The Professor’ in The Paper House.
The airport workers, who fell into deception, helped them load the gold into a pallet and several sacks inside the cars. Several members of the gang had kidnapped the airport’s logistics supervisor and his family the night before to obtain information on the time at which to commit the robbery. Once they managed to get the loot inside the vehicles, the robbers left, and later changed transports driving an ambulance and a white van.
