Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán.- Authorities of Lázaro Cárdenas reported that there are six active tortugueros camps in that municipality of which only one that lies between Eréndira beach and Jardin beach was affected, so they already make liberations of hatched daily.

The nest population pointed out that the camps are estimated to have between 4000 and 6 nests with about 900 thousand eggs.
