“We celebrate more that it has been achieved taking into account the demands of the citizens,” said Luis Manuel Antúnez Oviedo, National Delegate in the entity of this political force.
The Revocation of Mandate is an initiative that Citizen Movement has been promoting for several legislatures, and has been one of the main flags that have been part of the political agenda of this movement and that today, after several attempts, is seen emphasized Antúnez Oviedo.
In this way, he acknowledged the role of citizen movement legislators in getting it included in the opinion, which was endorsed by a qualified majority, that the revocation was based on the demand of the citizens and not at the content of the rulers to enhance his image.

“We have always stressed, insistently, that a politician or ruler who does not fulfill his mandate, that he does not serve the citizens and not of results, is removed from his office,” he said.

“The rulers are employees of the citizens, and as employees of ours we have the right to remove them if they do not comply,” he stressed the National Delegate, who anticipated that the local thing will insist on making the appropriate legal adaptations to make Revocation of Mandate.
Luis Manuel Antúnez said that work is already being made to seek reforms to the Law on Mechanisms for Citizen Participation to integrate some concepts that ensure and encourage citizens to influence public life in the state.
