Mexico.- The Arab airline ‘Emirates’ managed to obtain a permit to operate flights in Mexico, exactly between dubai and Mexico City via Barcelona; flights will begin on December 9, 2019.
The permit was communicated and granted by the Ministry of Communications and Transport.
Salem Obaidalla, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for the Americas at Emirates, said they are pleased to confirm that Emirates obtained permission for the flight between Dubai-Mexico City via Barcelona.
“Emirates looks forward to serving its customers in Mexico and offering travelers on the road our unique product and award-winning service.”
“We would like to thank the authorities in Mexico who have given us the permission and the slots needed to operate our flights,” the manager said, in a statement.
As of December 9, 2019, Emirates daily flights between Dubai and Mexico City via Barcelona will operate on the following schedules:
EK 255 will depart Dubai at 03:30 local time, and will arrive in Barcelona at 08:00 local time.
The flight will depart Barcelona at 09:55 and arrive in Mexico City at 16:15 on the same day.
EK256 will depart Mexico City at 19:40 local time, arriving in Barcelona the next day at 13:25 local time
