CDMX.- After weeks of internal confrontation and a vote dropped by the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of the Federation (TEPJF), the National Executive Committee of Morena and the National Council of that same party, agreed to put the dispute aside and hold a single extraordinary national congress to replenish the internal election process of the leadership.
In a network video, Yeidckol Polevnsky, the current party leader at the national level, the president of the National Council, Bertha Luján, and the president of the National Honesty and Justice Commission of that party, Hector Díaz Polanco, announced the congress that will be held on November 30, to attend the RESOLUTION of the TEPJF and finally elect the new leadership.
“I call on this important moment in the political life of the country so that this act will help us to come together, Morena goes forward,” the CNM president said.
This is the third time that a Moreonist Congress has been cited, as lawsuits have prevented partisan tables from agreeing, following the internal crisis that was slain with the court’s annulment of the votes.
It is worth mentioning that both Yeidckol Polevnsky and Bertha Luján are contenders for the leadership of that political institute.
