Mexico City.- The Zocalo of the capital was meeting point of more than two thousand 500 women who protested against sexist violence and performed the famous Chilean performance called “Un violator in your path”The collectives “Aquilarre Violeta” and “Marea Verde” organized the event through a call spread through social networks. In it, they asked women who wanted to participate to practice the lyrics and choreography used in the “And the guilt is not mine” protest, held in the capital of Chile last Monday, November 25.
Around 3:30 p.m., a group of about 800 young women began practicing the routine at the Central Alameda Kiosk. In some of the images of the event you can see minors in the company of their mothers singing: “The patriarchy is a judge who judges us for pleasure, and our punishment is the violence you already see: femicide, impunity for the killer, is the disappearance , is rape.”

It is worth mentioning that the performance was performed in different parts of the world and in each one they adapted the lyrics according to the situation they face. In the case of Mexico, the word “Paco” (the way in which the military in Chile is called) was replaced with “Cura”. When they finished, they shouted “Never again silent”
