Authorities of the government of Guanajuato confirmed the discovery of four bodies, which correspond to the municipal policemen who were kidnapped after an attack on the Command of Villagrán, so they already add 7 dead elements.
They also confirmed that the qualifying judge, who had been deprived of liberty along with the elements, is alive and only had minor injuries.
“A while ago the four lifeless public servants appeared, as the municipality of Villagrán confirmed that these are members of the municipal police. He also appeared alive, with some minor injuries the qualifying judge,” said Sophia Huett Lopez Security Commissioner in Guanajuato.

The attack on the Villagrán Municipal Police facility occurred on the night of December 11, and initially left three dead, plus five people abducted, four security elements and a rating judge, sole survivor.

Villagrán is one of the 19 municipalities of Guanajuato that form the industrial corridor of the state, through which they cross the pipelines of Petróleos Mexicanos connected to the Salamanca Refinery.
Armed clashes in this municipality have increased due to the fighting between the security forces and the Santa Rosa Cartel of Lima, which is engaged in the theft of fuel in the area.
