translated from Spanish: Distracted MPs unmember reforms michoacan Tax Code

Morelia, Michoacán.- The distraction of local deputies, ended up charging them an invoice when disposing of various reforms and provisions to the Tax Code of Michoacán, which allowed tax fraud to be determined as a crime.
For bringing their heads anywhere but in the Special Session on Monday, the legislators who supported the opinion voted against it, to such an extent that the chairman of the Programming, Budget and Public Account Committee himself, Norberto Antonio Martínez Soto, denied his approval, despite the fact that his Commission and that of the Treasury and Public Debt, were in charge of delivering the opinion.
The opinion would be tied with the Federal Tax Law, however, when it is discarded it may be proposed until the next legislative year, that is, until September 2020, as this is marked by the Law on Procedures.
“There is an annoyance on my part because it was a job that was done in Commissions, where despite being an opposition, we believe it necessary that tax fraud be considered as a crime and for a matter of political interest and carelessness they vote against it,” Arturo Hernández said Vazquez, clearly angry.
The final vote resulted in 22 votes against and 12 in favour, thus discarding the reforms to Articles 1, 11 and 88 fraction I, the addition of a fraction II to Article 105, as well as a third paragraph to Article 171 , and paragraph tenth of Article 20 of the Michoacán Tax Code is repealed.
