Mocorito.- The municipal government clarified that due to misinterpretations, some basic schools had some doubts about the days of suspension of classes because of the meatstolendas festivities of the magical village. So it was necessary to turn another office through the Regional Services Department of the region for the respective school supervisions and to confirm that all basic level campuses, i.e. kindergartens, primary and secondary, of the unions of El Valle, San Benito, Melchor Ocampo, Rosa Morada and the Central Mayor, with the sole exception of the Pericos Union, which already had this benefit.
The dates of the assumption will be the 2nd and 3rd of the month of March. Dates on which activities for carnestolendas celebrations will be developed in the municipal head. It should be mentioned that previously the mayor of Mocorito, Guillermo “Memo” Galindo Castro disclosed that the Secretariat of Public Education and Culture (SEPyC) of the State of Sinaloa authorized the request to grant two days of suspension of work and with it support the mood for the celebrations and traditions related to the meatstolendas festivities of the Magic Village of Mocorito and those of the pericos union.However, the union rosters were not notified by the authorities municipal government notified the corresponding area in the region of Evora to do the same and give the benefit to these campuses, which has already been confirmed and authorized.
