Peru’s president, Martín Vizcarra, decided to implement more restrictive measures to slow the advance of the coronavirus and the measures planned until April 12, added particular days to move according to the genre. Only men will be allowed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while Women will be enabled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
In Peru, a curfew applies from 6pm until 5 a.m. to mobilize, while in regions where the virus had the most impact, the ban starts at 16 o’clock. “This restriction is not for those who work in a bank or pharmacy or in a market, but for those who go shopping. It’s for the citizen I was normally going to buy. What we’re getting out one day a week,” Vizcarra said.
