Morelia, Michoacán.- Faced with the daily increase of positive cases of the COVID-19 virus, the Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group of Morena, at the Congress of Michoacán, Sergio Báez Torres called for the responsibility and unity of all political forces, in order to contribute to the dissemination of information of the coronavirus and not to politicize the issue.
For the local deputy of the Movement of National Regeneration party, it is normal for the government to be criticized in turn on all its actions, however, he acknowledged that the current landscape in the world and in Mexico, demands the union of all.
“It is always normal that opponents of a model of government will take advantage of any situation, but even in the most established democracies there are people who have left political flags.”
Therefore, the Terracalenteño legislator called on political actors to focus their efforts on continuing to help people from the individual side as a collective to prevent the spread of the virus and thereby the saturation of resources in the health system.
Finally, Báez Torres insisted that all political forces must be accountable and continue to disseminate information from federal health authorities.
