Health authorities recorded 470 more deaths from COVID-19 coronavirus, for a total of 10,637 deaths from the disease.
They also record 924 suspicious deaths that are still waiting for lab results to confirm.

Health authorities also reported an increase of 3,891 new cases, 4% from 1 June, for a cumulative total of 97,326 people with the virus, however, 16,940 remain active as symptoms develop in the last 14 days.
Of this working population, the highest disease burden is in Mexico City with 44 cases of COVID-19, for every 100 thousand inhabitants, followed by Tabasco, which after presenting a resum reached a rate of almost 40 cases.
Nationally, the rate is 13.2 contagions per 100 thousand inhabitants.

COVID hospitals also reported an increase in bed occupancy for acute respiratory infections, reaching 44%.
Of this type of beds, the largest occupancy is the capital of the country and the State of Mexico, when reporting 80 and 74%.
For intensive care beds, which require a fan, there is a 37% occupancy nationwide; Baja California and Mexico City record a level of 67 and 66%, respectively.
Subseretariat of Health Hugo López-Gatell reported that the COVID-19 epidemic in areas such as the Valley of Mexico is at its “highest level of intensity”.

Deaths from COVID-19 in Health personnel
Authorities also reported at a press conference that 271 people, who were working in health services, died of the virus.
In addition, 20 thousand 217 have tested positive, almost one-fifth of the population recorded by authorities; 24%, 4, 117 cases remain active.
Among the most affected staff are nurses and nurses, with 42%; followed by doctors and doctors with 32%.

According to the authorities, 90% of health personnel have been treated on an outpatient basis.
