Guamúchil, Sinaloa.- Due to the increase that is emerging daily and that people are starting to relax and ignore the indications of the Ministry of Health, Luis Víctor Velazco Zayas, head of the Health Jurisdiction III, called on the population to stay at home, this in order to avoid contagion by the pandemic of COVID-19. Velazco Zayas urged the whole of society, mainly people over the age of 60 who suffer from chronic degenerative diseases, as well as pregnant or lactating women, or all those with immunocompromy, to stay at home.
“We are really making an effort to do all the health institutions, be it the ISSSTE, Social Security, Ministry of Health, Health Jurisdiction, the work we are doing with the municipalities, the great effort that Civil Protection is making, Red Cross, Mexican Army, Police, to provide them with the best possible care,” he said. He added that it was very important for citizens to participate in combating this pandemic by staying at home, respecting the measures issued by the Ministry of Health, proper hand washing, as well as feeding properly and avoiding visiting relatives. The head of Health Jurisdiction III emphasized that prevention measures must be continued, being in the face of red traffic and being with a distribution of patients and circulation of the virus in the Evora region, so it must be kept at home.” Now it is time for citizens to exercise information and heed the call to avoid getting sick and be responsible for their health.”
