The leaders of Morena, the Green Party and the Labour Party announced a proposal to establish a political alliance to the 2021 elections.
This was reported by Alberto Anaya, leader of the PT; Carlos Puente, leader of the Green, and the president of Morena, Alfonso Ramírez Cuéllar, when he announced a “great national mobilization of a virtual nature on Sunday, July 4”, to support the federal government and President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

“The proposal (of political alliance) will be presented to the National Council of our party, because it is the instance that will decide alliances and electoral coalitions,” Ramírez Cuéllar said of the possibility of a coalition.

Meanwhile, the Petrist leader said they seek to close ranks with the president “because it has to be a great front of political and social forces with the consistency needed to bring about the profound and real changes required for a more just and well-being country.”

“2021 is already present, the election year is about to begin, and we do believe that we need to build a working table both Morena, Partido Verde and PT, in order to build a unitary project by 2021,” the leader insisted.
