This Sunday Ubisoft will hold its Ubisoft Forward digital event, in which it will present its news for this year and those that come. And to incentivize users to join the stream, the company is offering a copy of Watch Dogs 2 for PC for free. While the main event starts at 16 hours in Argentina, the company plans a pre-show starting at 15:30 hours, offering details and announcing news of already available games such as The Division 2, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and the recent Trackmania, will open the show with a gameplay broadcast with commentary from the developers.
To receive the game, you only need to connect to the UPlay account—the store and the company’s sales service—between 15:30 and the end of the main stream. “Connect with your Uplay account anytime after Trackmania and before the end of the main show to claim a free copy of Watch Dogs 2 on PC and the opportunity to answer a series of questions and win prizes for various Ubisoft games,” the company says. If you don’t have a UPlay account you can create it for free on the site, and it’s worth the clarification that to use the game you’ll have to download the official platform of the company — which means that it can be activated on Steam, for example.
In the teaser released this week the company anticipates the first real gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and new images from Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six: Quarantine and Gods and Monsters, games originally planned for the first half of the year but delayed undated at the end of 2019 after the failure of sales and criticism of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and The Division 2.
In addition, the new installment of the popular Far Cry franchise was leaked from the Chinese PlayStation store this morning. As rumoured, Far Cry 6 will return to the “exotic locations” typical of the saga, which in this case is the fictional island of Yara, clearly inspired by castrist Cuba. Actor Giancarlo Esposito, known for his involvement in Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and The Mandalorian, will play the game’s villain, a dictator that the player, a local guerrilla member named Dani Rojas, must overthrow.

According to the description Far Cry 6 will be developed on the biggest map of the series so far and will reintroduce the concept of mercenaries that we can hire to help us in the missions, which in this case will be identified as the group “Friends”. Far Cry 6 arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC next February 18, and according to the page those who purchase the current generation versions will receive the copy of PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X free of charge.
