The Government of Mexico City reported a slight increase in the number of patients hospitalized by COVID-19.
At a press conference, head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, noted that the increase occurred between Sunday and Monday, in 4 or 5 of the 57 public and private hospitals that treat COVID patients.
Sheinbaum said that although this is a slight increase, they will monitor the behavior of this statistic throughout the week.

As of Tuesday, 2,587 patients were hospitalized for the virus, and 801 who are intubated.
On the other hand, he stressed that there is a decrease in the number of positive cases.
As of this Tuesday, in the country’s capital there are 63,527 positive cases, of which 6,028 are active. As well as 8,253 deaths.
As for a possible color change at the CDMX traffic light, from orange to yellow, Sheinbaum said that until Friday they could issue a positioning on it.
“We’re going to wait until Friday to see what happens to hospitalization, there’s a slight reduction in positivity even when there was business opening, but not in hospitals, so we’re going to wait for the weekend,” he said.
Start Health University classes
On another issue, the capital government announced the start of classes of the first generation of the University of Health.
These are 1,040 students who have started their preparation since June 4.
Of the total students, 542 will study medicine and 498 nursing.
At a press conference, the secretary of Capital Education, Rosaura Ruiz detailed that the 1,040 students were selected after taking a propedéutic course, which was enrolled more than 20 thousand aspirants. 
In addition to getting good grades in the course, selected students went through another filter by university executives.
The Secretary of Education detailed that the age range of students is between the ages of 20 and 31, and that only 28% of them reside in the CDMX.
So far, 85 teachers have been hired for this project
Students will take their classes online until the University facilities are completed and when the CDMX epidemiological traffic light permits.
The University of Health is located in what will be the fourth section of the Chapultepec Forest, very close to the village of Santa Fe.
The land where it is built was donated by the Ministry of National Defense, which also used it as a school.
According to Claudia Sheinbaum, the rehabilitation works are at 85%, and could be completed by the end of August or early September.
The project has a budget of approximately 100 million pesos, of which 50 are concerned for the construction and rehabilitation of the land and the other 50 for administrative issues and the hiring of teachers.
